You can help us make Chico a better place, and build community in the process. Here’s how.

Donate.

It’s about values. Supporting what’s going well in our community, and seeking solutions where we see issues. But as grassroots as we are (no one takes a salary, we all volunteer to support this work) we have to have money to maintain the site, advertise important information, and promote our work so people know we are.

Your contribution to our PAC directly supports our message of unity and progress, and will help us to confront the harmful (and sometimes, blatantly false) narratives being used to create anger, division and hopelessness in our community.

With your help, we will continue to grow our movement. We will ensure that you have access to the facts, not just soundbites and contrived narratives. We will support people on our streets and protect our parks and waterways, because human decency and protecting the environment aren’t mutually exclusive.

Volunteer.

We are seeking artists and creative folks who can help us illuminate ideas and issues in new and interesting ways.

We’d love to start a photo-based series showcasing unique people and neighborhoods in Chico.

We’re interested in creating a podcast where we can dig deeper into some of the issues our city faces, and share voices in the community.

We’d love to create some videos, highlighting the beauty and diversity of our community…or videos that make us laugh. These days are ripe for satire…but we aren’t that funny.

We’re also seeking folxs who can help us broaden the conversation about local issues and are willing to write occasionally on things that move or engage you. Are you an expert in housing/development, climate change, sustainability, justice, economic development, and health care? Something else are we missing?

We are actively seeking POC and LGBTQIA+ folks who are willing to share their lived experience and perspectives on local issues.

Got other creative ideas? We love those too. We welcome you.
