In fact, 3 homeless people have been targeted and shot in the past month, and one was killed.
Rather than look for ways to address the issue, Citizens for a Safe Chico sent out a ghoulish email update full of misinformation, outright lies and plain old ugliness. Even more alarming, given recent violence against people on the streets, it again blames the victims rather than the city leaders that got us into this mess. ๐๐'๐ฏ๐ ๐ญ๐๐ค๐๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ข๐ฑ ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ฆ.

Lies, demonization of indigent people, and advocates, and organizations providing solutions, harassment of private citizens, covering up for election fraud, harassing councilmembers and their employers...all in a dayโs work. It's truly monstrous.
Chico cannot continue to endure divisive, hateful people and organizations like this in our community. We deserve better.
If you are still supporting Citizens for a Safe Chico you are part of a coldly calculated political machine that cares not one bit for our community, and whose actions have resulted in death and mayhem. Their willingness to go to any lengths to perpetuate the agenda of Assemblyman James Gallagher and the Chico Builders Association continues to horrify us.
