Rob Berry Prepares to Sue City Again, and He Wants to Hear from You!

𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐲 - 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐛 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 needs your letters, as he prepares to obstruct solutions and bolster his bank account by suing the city...yet again. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰!

Fake Environmental “Steward” Threatening to Close Sycamore Pool (One Mile) to Swimming, for Good.

We issued a warning back in May about Rob Berry’s latest scheme to line his pockets, the hilariously misnomered “Chico Stewards for Parks and Waterways.”

It's Solutions Month, and we would be remiss if we didn't address organizations with troubling practices and highlight alternatives. There are a couple of troubling groups in Chico fundraising for purported “solutions” to environmental problems and homelessness that are extremely problematic.

Our local newspapers and journalists are under attack. Local right-wingers, taking a page from trumps playbook, attacking journalists and the print media on a regular basis - see pics for a few recent examples. Things not going your way? Reporters provide facts that don’t agree with your narrative? “They’re biased!!”

It’s also disturbing to see Natalie Hanson-Ross singled out for their ire…
