I am writing you today to again advocate for the renewal of the Shelter Crisis Declaration. If you read no further, know this: to fail to renew the shelter crisis declaration is to expose the city to unnecessary liability at the exact time when we most need that protection. It would be ethically and fiscally irresponsible.
